What color is the universe according to astronomers at Johns Hopkins University?
Answer: The Universe may appear like a vast expanse of darkness but the average color is actually beige, according to scientists. A team of astronomers at Johns Hopkins University determined that the overall color of the universe is a light beige referred to as cosmic latte. In 2001, astronomers Karl Glazebrook and Ivan Baldry used spectral analysis to survey more than 200,000 galaxies to determine its color. When they asked for suggestions for a name of the color in a Washington Post article, a reader named Peter Drum came up with Cosmic Latte.
